Default T-25 WG and Uberdata......

If you have Uberdata and since there is a function for boost in the program does this mean you set the boost by Uberdata instead? Do you still need to adjust the WG to the settings you wanted? I'm confused on what exactly the Uberdata boost function does. Can someone help me out here? Thanks.

I dunno much anything about Uberdata, but you're gonna want to set boost with the wastegate. Its possible that Uber can set boost (above the wastegate setting) if it has a boost control feature which interfaces with some vac solenoids.

In other words, if you dont have the solenoids and junk, you gotta set your boost via the WG actuator arm length (assuming its IWG)

You have to control boost with your wastegate....

Uberdata doesn't have any such boost controlling features... at least none that I know of.

Waste gate to set you boost.
Uberdata has a boost cut feature so if you overboost,
it will cut fuel so you dont blow your engine up.

Ahhhhh....Now that makes sense. Does that make the car bog or does it mean on your WG you can set it to like 20psi and set the Uberdata at say 8psi and it'll run to only 8 psi no problems? Is there any other way to tell the boost your running except by putting it on the car and reading the gauges? Thanks.

Set waste gate to your desired psi. Use the wastgate for desired psi.
Use uberdata as a failsafe. It is not a boost controller.

that is all

Alright thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I'm still new, so I'm planning on running a T25 and the internal WG is at like 7psi. When you adjust it how do you know what your at now. I was reading this thread https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=38723.0
and I'm still a little confused. Do you have to hook up like and air compressor and blow throught the valve and check and see what psi it opens? Thanks for all the help guys.
