Since they are suppose to work different ,I wonder if they are better than the other bov and wastegates?Suppose not to leak and stuff.

 

Harry aka MR2guru has the bov on his turbo mr2 and celica alltrac for about 7 months, the one on the alltrac failed and was leaking after 3 months DD. They are made in china therefore hit and miss. I like the way they sound, but the price isnt right for the quality. Still better than an RFL in my op. though.

Long story short, they are nothing new, there are better units out there.

Yeah internet videos that all great and wonderful Im not saying they dont work im saying that from the experience I had with 2 of them and one failed after only 3 months and is expensive as ---- for a damn bov this is hmt i dont give a damn if the ****** costs $1000 I still think there are better MORE RELIABLE bov's out there that dont cost an arm and a leg. Kid asked for an opinion, I gave him one.

well i just got back from a dyno session with the wg and bov on my brothers 1g dsm and first pull netted 348whp 362ftlp torque switch the wg and bov made 20 more hp and 18 lb torque more , he was running a hks race bov retails for over 700 and a tial 40mm wg ratail is over 400 i think both the synapse bov and wg cost less then just hid hks bov proof is in the pudding boys

 

----.I dunno about you guy's but that would convince me to buy a set of synapse's stuff and give em a try. Anybody else has some experience like this??

 

not saying to run out and buy the bov and wg but it does ex actually what the mfg claimed faster response more acurate and more power, also my brother dsm had a very slight boost creep problem when whe switched it was gone
