Re:Sweet intercooler
They weren't turboed...
They had somekind of supercharger...but not the ones you guys would know normally.
They used somthing called a "G-lader" that's in Dutch think they use that word in germany too.
It's kinda like a centrifugal type supercharger it looks like the letter "G".
But those cars are slow in stock trim....for having a supercharger and all.
And stock Vr6's...slowwwww ....there was this VW Vr6 with exhaust and a header and the guy thought he was so fast...he only ran a 15 flat :P

Re:Sweet intercooler
the name for turbo charger here is turbolader, and supercharger is superlader, intercooler ladeluftkuhler. almost every car here come with turbo but diesel most are slow as ---- turbo diesel (TDI) most golf, jetta, a4 only have 90 hp, and they are turbo, I have a 98 none turbo audi a4, and its faster than the turbo version. drifting away from the subject. any way that is a real corrado intercooler.

Re:Sweet intercooler
I know ...I bought a few things on E-bay germany
Turbodiesels are slow....the same car in gasoline NA trim will leave it's turbodiesel counter part behind..it's a fact
The turbo is just to make it more efficient..it get's a bump in power, but not as much as a gas engine would.

Re:Sweet intercooler
Actually diesel engines see a huge improvement in power when turbo'd, a N/A diesel has absolutely no power while a turbo diesel can have from some to lots of power. Heck I've even seen a 12 second turbo diesel pickup truck.
