so right now i've got a .42 .48 on my b16, and i hate it. i can get my hands on a thunderbird turbocoupe turbo for dirt cheap, but the center section is all nastified and crusty. my question is would putting the compressor side of that t-bird turbo onto my .42 .48 center section basically make it a .60 .48

 

yeah, just swap the compressor wheel and compressor cover from the thunderchicken turbo to your 42/48. I think the backing plates are the same even.
