Can someone please tell me what kind of turbo is on a 87-92 Turbocharged Toyota Supra. Or if someone can tell me what would be the best but easiest turbocharger to work on a Ford 302 stock block. Any & all help is greatly appreciated thanks.

not to hate but I as a honda mechanic think they are poorly engineered.

dunnno. i would take a 7m-gte over a b16 or b18 anyday... lol..

and i would especially take the 2jz-tt engine

supra engines are some of the most bulletproof out there.. i dunno if the mkiii are as good as the mkiv engines... but either way. u cant really say that toyota hit the nail on the head with the mkiv engine... its 100x better than any honda engine.


EDIT: unless u were just talking about toyota's turbos, in which case i have no idea!

 

i agree with bobafett... i drive an 89 supra turbo which has a ct-26 turbo... the 7m motor has its issues but can be very torquey.. the 2jz motor is by far one of the best motors ever made as it will hold 900hp on a stock bottom end

 

Well I just wanted to figure out what type of turbo/s a Toyota Supra had .. Debating on to use it or not going twin for my set-up .. Thanks again guys
