yes i agree and i too get tired of answering the same questions over and over. so i help some and i don't help others. but my method of not helping others is to simply not reply or to just say "please just search".

it's like being a jerk to a total stranger because someone else pissed you off, not entirely fair to this new person even though they should learn to search.

Everyone go get laid or something ;-)

Loosen bolts holding exhaust housing on (Or V-band clamp), turn housing, tighten bolts (or clamp). It's the same for all turbos basically.

The tdo4l is the same assembly design as pretty much any other MHI turbo. To rotate the exhaust housing, unbolt the band clamp and remove (yes, it will pull right out with a pair of vise grips) the lock pin. To clock the housing side just remove the huge C-clip.

No, STi's use a VF-30, VF-34, VF-39, and VF-43 IIRC.

EDIT: I'm sure there's more, I just don't know of the others.

Nope, that's pretty much the entire list of STi turbo's right there. Unfortunately any of those turbo's listed are considered an upgrade over the tdo4l. :P

That turbo on the wrx is a small ****, it would spool pretty quick on a small engine. However, from what I have seen, they are a bit pricier than the traditional T3 and mitsu turbos.

you'll make the power. i've seen two very basic hmt setups on y7 motors making 200whp with almost 200wtq at 11lbs. just get a good tuner

im self tuned using this same turbo on a y7/y8 mini-me, and my butt dyno says im probably 180whp or so at 10lbs
