subaru ihi rhb5, bad turbo???? help
Okay, I just put in my turbo kit in this weekend, but for some reason the turbo keeps spittin out oil from the exhaust side? Does this mean that the turbo is bad, or is it common on these subaru turbos? Also I have it in my sohc d15b. I have already went thru 3 of these turbos and still the same. I got it flipped the right way, (feed on top, drain on bottom) still not working. The car will boost just fine but it will smoke like crazy because oil keeps coming out. Oh yeah, turbo came out a 88 subaru. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS BECOMING A HEADACHE AND A PAIN IN THE ***. LET ME KNOW YOUR SUGGESTIONS.

.060 to .125 (1/8") is generally whats used for restrictor sizes. or get a stealthmode restictor

btw, its probably not a good idea to throw on an adjustable restrictor, and just choke off the turbo. get an oil pressure gauge and make sure you see what pressure your adjusting the line to. you should be able to find a recommended number for that turbo through the dealer
