Default strange oil burning symptoms

the set-up: z6 with eagle rods and vitaras with about 1500 miles on the build, still running my old t25.

the problem: after decelerating in vacuum, my car will burn oil for a few seconds. i thought it might be the pcv, so i plugged the port on the IM and just let the valve vent to the environment. at first this fixed the problem, but then the car started burning oil all the time. i reconnected the pcv and now its back to how it was before- only burns oil after a deceleration in vacuum.

any ideas?

I want to say it's the turbo seals. It's the turbo seals. I always get what I want.

Ha....Thanks.

EDIT: Really, I don't know and never expierenced it yet (thank God), but don't blown seals spit mad blue smoke out of the exhaust constantly and more less in boost NOT off the throttle. Right?

Haha.

I've had that problem, but with everything else wrong with the car I really never bothered to figure it out.

I did the same thing with my PVC that hondan00b did.

right now, yes. basically what i tried doing was taking the hose off the pcv and plugging it with a bolt. that fixed the problem for a while, but then the car started smoking all the time. so i put it back to how it normally hooked up.

i know i should be using a catch can, but id rather find a cheap (read: free) solution

why is everyone so quick to blame turbo seals or blame the pcv system?

smoking in high manifold vacuum conditions usually means intake valve seals..

Don't run the PCV system stock... and don't just plug it. Pressure buildup in the crankcase HAS to go somewhere.... Run it like mentioned above.... mine goes into a mountain dew can . Allow the crankcase to release pressure.
