Ok today i was taking my rims off to sell them.....in order to get the jack underneat the car i had to put two bricks one infront of each tire once its up i can stick the jack in the front well i was on a little hill and i smelled something since i forced it . NOW THE CAR MAKES THIS LITTLE KNOCIKNG SOUND THAT SOUNDS LIKE IT COMING FORM THE OIL PAN AREA AND TO TOP IT OFF I CANT GET THE OIL PAN SCREWW OFF!!!! HELP PLEASE!! I HEARD WHILE I PASS BETWEEN 3 AND 4 THOUSADN REVOLUTIONS.

No, it's because you barely make any sense. How do you do something to the engine, to the point of it making noise now, when you were just taking the wheels off? Either you shouldn't be working on cars or you've linked two completely unrelated things thru sheer stupidity, you decide.

Taking your tires off shouldn't have anything to do with your engine... If you somehow managed to, you have some problems. Unless you drove up on bricks in a weird way that it might've fucked up your suspension or tranny (via halfshafts). Maybe your new wheels are making noise? Do you hear it at a standstill or just when you're driving?

I had a weird noise a few weeks aqo that I thought was something in my oil pan. Ended up being the alt. wheel coming loose.

 

by "3-4 thousand revolutions" do you mean "3-4 thousand rpms"?

 

maybe u put a fat *** dent in the pan n the crank is hittin it. sux
