Stock Turbo question 14B and Waste gate?
I have the turbo off what I believe to be a 1993 Eclipse GSX, I just wanted to clarify, is this what is known as a '14B turbo' and do all DSM turbos use the same exhaust flange?
Also, what is the stock wastegate set to? and how do I change it without adding an external one?

"the goods" is a rusty *** wastegate.
anyway i'll answer you since the ones before me didn't.
look in the stickies.
the stock psi is 8
what exhaust flange? the manifold flange or the down pipe flange? i think they are the both the same on all dsm turbos.
search for
mbc
carb spring
those will help you adjust the wastegate setting.

Thanks for the stock PSI #, Thats the PSI I want anyways for my B18.

I am a noob, but i believe this turbo will suck ***** on a b18. Unless you just don't like to rev your engine up. Go bigger. I sure will for my z6.

Alright guys, I got most my setup together, now my question is very simple, and I'm sure its been answered, but I'd still like some input,
How do I by-pass the wastegate on my 14B turbo, and what kind of wastegate and BOV should I buy?
