Steel Braided Oil Line Question
Hey, you guys anyone here bought steel braided line from Summit Racing? I was wondering if the red part (picture above) is included with the steel braided line? Or is it included with the braided steel lines?

Re:Steel Braided Oil Line Question
No no no.. I just bought mine and put it together..
It's a BITCH to get together, but, if you do it right, they won't come apart.
I got:
3' of -4AN (that I assume is the size) stainless steel braided hose.
2 -4AN end caps.
2 -4AN swivel connectors
2 -4AN to NPT adapters (These actually got from O'Reilly's for $2.85 each, anodized blue)
Anyway.. Basically, you take the end cap, screw it on to the end of the braided steel hose, then you take the swivel and screw it into the end cap, while it's being screwed into the end cap, it threads itself into the inside of the hose, and ------s it apart squishing it tight against the walls of the end cap. That pressure is what keeps it in the endcap, and from spraying oil everywhere.
That's what mine looks like.. so far..
