Oh man, I don't know what to think about this post.

Draztik, thank you for the kind words on the oil line kit.

And I completely deserve every comment that Kevin has dished out for me. I really got caught up with the wrong guy on the manifolds. The guy isn't local to me and I had been dealing with him and oil lines for quite some time. I thought I could trust him, but when it came down to being a man, he was in it for the quick dollar. That's why the manifolds came out the way they did. I was 100% honest with all of the buyers and took care of whatever I could to come to a conclusion to that situation. I myself am not immune to scammers in this industry, and through the manifold group buy I learned a hard lesson, along with the customers I try to treat so well.
I am doing a full write-up with this whole situation and I am contemplating releasing this kinda like that MYJGENGINE.COM guy.
I have taken care of all the complaints through email and pm's. Even though it's not the best publicity that projekteg has voiced his opinion in this thread, I am completely content with letting the truth be known, and telling you that I made a mistake in who I dealt with.
All of the hmt'ers who got caught up in this mess have been very pleasant to deal with given the situation. The only option for me was to be honest with what was going on, and even though some of you may have had the motive to kill me, you didn't. And I thank you for that.
I have been concentrating on oil lines ever since and the fact that draztik and many others have good things to say can be contributed to the fact that all of the oil lines come directly from me. The only other person that is depended on for oil line parts is a wonderful guy to work with from Tuner Toys named Craig. Sometimes you assume that every "business owner" in this industry can be trusted to at least deliver what they say. One of the reasons that I may have been quick to trust this "manifold guy" is because I am constantly dealing with outright honest business people like Tuner Toys and others.
Me and Craig share the same business practices in being honest with customers. When we say what we do, we fully intend to do what we say. Me and Craig are working together on some other things that are sure to be just as good as the oil lines.
Sorry for the long post, but when things go wrong, an honest explanation is only fair. -Steve
