stealthmode oil drain....?

Default stealthmode oil drain....?

well i have a oil drain flange that i got with my stealthmode kit and the lil brass fitting that is suposed to screw into it only screws in about 1 turn then stops...is this normal it seems like it would leak to me

It should go on further than that, are you hand tightening it?

its a flared NPT thread, its supposed to get tighter and tighter as you screw it in, and yes they dont thread very far.

I've never had a barb fitting screw completely into the drain flange. I put assembly lube on the threads and as it's installed on the turbo I'll turn it to get at least 3 threads (which you shouldn't have a problem getting). I've wrenched on a couple of them before without issues, but if you've got at least 3 you're fine.
