Default Stealth gauges

I hate gauge pods, and for the most part I hate interiors littered with gauges. I know they are neccesary and I will need a Boost gauge, oil press., EGT etc but I don't want 6 little autometer gauges all over my a-pillar and dash, It would be nice to have a small LED disply in the coin holder spot that gives all this info, anybody an elec. engineer that can figure that out? Any other ideas? cheap ideas?

I have the same problem. I don't want a big *** gauge pod on my pillar so everybody sees it and thinks/knows I have ---- done to the motor. I haven't figured out where to mount them so they are still visable and functional. It sucks because the pillar is such a good spot as far as vision. Anywhere else you have to look down or away from the road.

I was thinking about scrapping my entire stock gauge cluster and replacing with a 5" tach, EGT, Boost, oil pressure, and water temperature. The only downfall is I won't have a speedo, but the damn thing doesn't work anyways.

Eliminating the stock cluster would be cool, but there goes the Stealth look. Besides I NEED a speedo. Although this looks cheesy, it does do what I want, it's just a bit pricey

If I could fit this under the stereo, it would be well hidden but still easily read, I like it much more subtle looking though.

I'm not a fan of digital readouts. With sweep gauges you can train your eye to know where it's at without looking directly at it.

Wow, those are pretty gay. If I had a Metro I wanted to pimp out I might go for that, but no.

Yeah, because the glovebox is in my direct line of sight when I'm driving. :P I thought the point of having gauges was so you could see what was going on?
