Default Starting my unfinished car

I got everything done on my turbo lude accept down pipe and fuel upgrades. I plan on getting custom down pipe and running an SAFCII with 450s with a 255 fuel pump.
I wanna start my car to make sure there are no leaks and to just start it cause its been sitting so long. Is this a bad idea? I dont plan on driving it just starting it. Thanks
