if you goto the turbo projects page and look at todds setup in the bottom picture on the cooling page you can see it.

pulled my codes and got a 14,71, 72, 73, 74...so basiclly i'm misfiring on all cylinders and have an IACV fault so i'm gonna change that tomarrow. i replaced all vacuum hoses and i think i might of messed up that little brass colar for the boost gauge because it doesn't move from zero now but when i drive i can hear the turbo spool and the bov open (plastic probe bov). still sounds cool once i get going. there is a shop here in town that was working on a turbo so i went down there to have them check it out, they said everthing looks good except the idle and iacv fault but they said it should fix both when i change it out.....we'll see tomarrow.

Fix the boost gauge. Thats pretty essential. Also if it fails you can try bleeding the coolant. That sometimes causes weird idling mishaps.

Usually theyre is a bolt up by the radiator hose leaving the engine (top radiator hose). You turn the car on and loosen that bolt until it starts bubbling. You leave it open until no more bubbles. Now my d16y7 however didnt have that bolt. So I opened the radiator cap and let it run for awhile and squeezed the upper hose every few mins. Seemed to do alright.

This is the port (circled) that jeff is asking about. This is a pic of Todds engine from the turbo projects page.

okay my idleing problem went away by itself today. don't know why or how but it did. the only thing now is that it jerks alot and boggs down when i start from a stop sometimes. on the way home i was on a hill and tried to go and it seemed like it was gonna die even when i gave it more gas.
my boost guage is still not working but i have to go get one of those little brass collars so i can see if it's boosting or not but i'm pretty sure it is because i can hear the bov.
