started install today
i started to put my turbo on today and have a few more problems than i expected. first of all my dsm o2 housing hits my radiator so i have to move it over about an inch. but that was after i struggled with my old header and them bolts.
will heater hose work for oil drain? i bought one of those kits but the drain tube doesn't fit over my flange on my turbo.
thanks

"heater hose work for oil drain?"
Yes, just keep an eye on it, like dont drive it for a year and not look at it, LOL.. Over time the rubber will break down and get soft, but thats basically what I've used on the marjority of our setups.
Get some pics up, interested to see whatcha got.

Re:started install today
alright, thanks i'll use it then.
have anyone ever had to move the radiator to do there install? i have alot of work to do tomarrow because i need to get my car running again because i start school on monday LOL... i still have to wire up BTM, put in fuel pump, run oil lines, weld radiator brackets, weld a few charge pipes, and extend the o2 sensor wires.
Damn looking at all i need to do it doesn't seem like i got ---- done today except my car yanked apart.LOL.
does aybody know if my stock o2 sensor will fit into the DSM o2 housing?

Re:started install today
still not done....i am never changing another car from stock again, yeah right. all my charge pipes are done and welded together i just need to figure something out for the inlet side of turbo because there is some space restrictions, and then wire up BTM. but i know something else will go wrong because thats my luck. i hope it's all worth it when it gets running.
p.s
---- the oil pressure sensor, almost kicked the ---- out of my car because of that.

Re:started install today
alright here's an update, i got it all done today and drove it. everything was good except it was kinda loud because i didn't get the downpipe yet. the thing is it has only read 4 psi max...could there be a leak in my charge pipes since i welded them together instead of using clamps? (just learned how to weld when i started this project, not to good at it). but on the way home it started to idle funny, just going up and down like i was revving my engine, it would go from 1k up tp 3k and dwn and back up, i think i might have a vacuum leak. but other then that no leaks or anything.
any help will be appriciated
oh yeah my setup is 99 ex
d16y8
t-25 turbo with wastgate set at 8psi
cartech adjustable fmu
255 lph fuel pump
probe bov
2g dsm intercooler
missing link
vortech btm
boost and A/F guages
thanks

Re:started install today
Your wierd idle sounds like a vacuum leak to me. I had the same problem when I installed an aftermarket intake manifold on it pre-turbo.
I had to rework my radiator when I did my setup, but I have an integra radiator in my 93 Civic, so I simple put the fans on the other side of the radiator and wired them in reverse.
Also, the o2 sensor will fit the dsm housing. O2 sensors are pretty much standardized.

Re:started install today
i just checked the vacuum lines and didn't find any leaks but the one going to the btm was kinda loose so i zip tied it. there is a open vacuum source behind the valve cover, between the IM and head, is that supposed to be open? when i cover it it sounds like the car is gonna die.
