Donald125 Beware of the 3s-gte swap.
Toyota makes a good dozen "general nothing special" car engines that are fairly safe @ 400bhp when run safely. The 3s-gte is oddly one of the smaller, and more expencive engines on tha list.
As the saying goes... Why buy a 3s-gte if you can make a 1uz-fe, or 6cyl fit for a grand less

what are you going to make a camry rear wheel drive for a grand less than a 3s swap? I hope your ------- joking. Granted the 3s is more than in depth, and your getting yourself into a steamy pile of ---- if you dont get a whole front clip, but id do that over a v8 conversion anyday. The turbo 5sfe is the way to go. If it doesnt make enough power, ------- build the motor. Its easy and cheap... wish i still had my car. Id be putting 500hp to the ground by now

good to see you have a tranny cooler in there. People with ATX's forget those, boost tthe crap out fo the car, and then wonder why the tranny trakes a ---- 10K miles later.
