----, well anybody who is reading this, don't buy any of these turbos off ebay. Mine will be up for sale today.

The sad thing is they sell for $350-$450 everytime.

wow some real idiots on ebay that keep ss-autocrap in business.

Their headers suck ***, their turbo manifolds crack apart. Go ------- figure that their hybrid turbo would be any good.

as luck would have it, i have a dsm friend who is helping ssautochrome develop the t3/t4 and also a stock replacement for the dsm T25. the castings (for the most part) blow major ***. they put to much material in some places, and too little in others. the quality is, however, slowly getting better. they will soon be fixing the castings, and are also trying to figure out the problem of the nut holding the compressor wheel on falling off.

i still wouldnt buy one, but at least they're trying to make them better.

as a side note, he will soon be testing a tial wastegate knock-off from them. that looks like its got some potential, but im not holding my breath

that sucks for you doc, why did you go with the ssautocrap manifold, did you buy after bmc dissapeared or what? at least I was able to indentify your turbo just by looking at the size, I'm getting better.

The clearancing on the turbine vs compressor housing is way off.

I got a video of what they do.
On Turboford.org tons of people did a group buy on them and out of 55people that bought them 2worked. Then those 2 lasted less than a week.
DON'T BUY THAT TURBO!!! SSAUTOCHROME TURBOS SUCK *****!!

The only good thing that comes out of their shop is headers
Basically the turbine sticks to the compressor housing!

Those turbos aren't made by SS but some stupid company from france.
Lemme take a picture of the tag that came on the one I had.
it probably matches all the other ones!

haha damn thats classic. thanks for taking one for the team though, ive been waiting for some real experience. even if they did use genuine or high quality housings, who knows what the quality of the center section would be. not to mention if they balanced it properly.

anywho, ive been really thinking about using the ssa manifold IF and only if i can find it for dirt cheap and i brace the hell out of the turbo/wg, placing zero load on the manifold.
