SSAC wastegates>??????

how do yall like the ssautochrome wastegates, i have heard some good things about there wastegates cant say the same for the turbos but how do yall like them. and also do the wastegates come with the dump tubes?

what happens if the wastegate fails and im running an MBC? will it still spike and kill me or will the mbc save me some how

Re: SSAC wastegates>??????

It won't save you. MBC retards opening of wastegate. But in case wastegate is not operating nothing stops turbo spinning to heaven.

There is very few problems with them if any.The catch is if it does fail it could cost you a engine etc.I have never had a issue with one and will continue to use them. When you recieve it open it and inspect the diaphram etc and re tighten everything to double check it as Chinese quality control isnt the best.

Beware of the ssac wastegates!!!!! the one I had the valve inside came loose from the little alan key bolts and was flopping around in the wastgate housing, thank god for the valve seat.

Re: SSAC wastegates>??????

personally I think they are junk. just invest a little bit more for a real wg. Ive seen some used tials or deltagates running $70-$100 depending on where you look. i mean yeah its cheap for a new one... But why not just pay more and have a piece of mind?!?

yea but you wont get a larger tial WG (40mm+) for cheap used, and the ssac 35mm work just as good as the tial, so id like to know if the larger knock offs work as well

sorta off topic but i bought mine use its a 38mm or maybe a 35mm i need to recheck but anyway it didnt come with a valve seat. Does anyone know if the tial valve seats (fire ring) are the same? Anyone know a fix for this problem?
