OBX manifolds suck King Kong nuts. I only drive my car once a week on the weekends to street race people and all three of the runners are cracked. This has only been 3 weeks.

I am scared to drive the car because I don't want the 4th runner to crack and the entire turbo set up will fall off. I let the car idle down to 400 degrees EGT everytime and its still cracking. It maybe the weight from the turbo but they are all cracking around the welds. The welds look beautiful but don't hold up for ----.

Any advice on which equal length manifold to get?

You guys are starting to scare me . I ordered one of their manifold/turbo/dp kits off ebay just before this thread appeared. I'm starting to think I should just resell the thing, cut my losses and start over!

You guys are right, I've seen countless ones crack, they're so cheap because the material is very thin and the welds are crap, obx, spark racing, meng, they go by many names, but none of them work very well.

How do you know if the runners are cracked? Is there arcualy an exhause leak that you can hear, or you just have to look for them? I have had my manifold for about 5 months and nothing, but now im starting to wonder if the cracks are just hidding somewhere in there

I think I'll just buy one and make some brackets to help the manifold with the weight of the turbo.
If it cracks..I got someong that can TIG weld them for me for 30 bucks

strange..it's been over 3 month now and i haven't had problem w/ their manifold on my d15. their manifold does look shitty but not any worse than some of homemade job i've seen. jb weld around the edges and ceramic coated the ****** and you'll be fine
