Pulsar GTi-R SR20DET's had ITB's too I think. I might do a Sentra pjoject one of these days.

Pulsar gti-r sr20det had a number of differences to all other sr20 - the first of these is the block - its completely individual to the gti-r. the gti-r sr also had strong con rods, ITB, additional oil spray bars along with a whole host of other differences :P

Yup just like Izzie said. It actually has stock forged internals. Low CR pistons(8.3:1) different turbo, different exhaust manifold than the stock sr20det manifold. You should buy a new tranny and don't get a older sr20 tranny cause their notorious for 5th popouts and just shitty cases. Get your case welded cause they don't like to be beat on with much power. But if your low on cash just boost your stock engine. Then once that blows then get something different. Why swap something that aint broken? Break first then upgrade!

i've heard of people using KA24DE boxes from the altima in australia - apparently works really well and is much stronger (and has longer gearing)
