I have an sr20de the non turbo one, we got it for free and its in good condition about 87*** miles. i was going to help my friend do a hmt kit for it. has anyone on here done it ? results, cost, what all do you need? please help we have a s13 shell with a slow sohc haha

 

It's pretty damn easy to boost the DE. Everything from the FWD DET bolts on. Compression isn't too high.

 

is the sr20 going into the s13? is it rwd or a fwd sr20? IF it came out of a sentra you're sol

 

yea rwd. what do you mean "sol"? we already have the stock sr20 manifold and t28 turbo. were ordering eagle rods soon. what ecu can we use? most likely im guessing we gotta use the sr20 tranny haha us if anyone has done this help us out thanks

 

What he means is if it's a fwd sr20de from something like an older sentra ser, it has a different bolt pattern that bolts to a fwd tranny. As far as I know there is no way to bolt them to a rwd tranny unless it came from a rwd car.

 

Sorry I must been out of it not to too the S13 part. lol. Just get the DET ecu and MAF and injectors.

 

if ur gonna use the det ecu, you need maf, ignitor, sr20det harness, crank angle sensor, and coil packs.

jus get a stock sr20det cast manifold, stock or aftermarket elbow n downpipe. use the stock sidemount or get an ebay fmic kit. there cheap as ----.you can even boost the stock sr20de motor cuz it has a lil higher compression then stock sr20det so it has better low end torque and can still handle boost.

if the sr20de is out of a fwd, it aint happening.

 

It's possible to use the KA Ecu, with euther Bikirom or a Calum. There has been alot of stuff into the Calum ECU with real time and all that ----. but its not cheap.
