Default Spoolup compare T3 60 Trim, T3 Super60 & GT28RS

Hallo,

i plan to buy a new turbocharger for my kit. Currently i have a SC3427E on my b16a1 engine but the spoolup is to laggy for my oppinion because i do a lot of track and slalom racing and therefor need power from midrange on... if i loose some topend is not so important...

i'am not sure and thinking about these three turbos:

T3 60 Trim .48ar
T3 Super60 .48ar
GT28RS .64ar on T3 turbine housing

i tuned a friends car which has a GT28RS .82ar and it's too laggy for my application. i also tuned a car with a T3 50trim on a B16 which has a insane spool up, but loose power beyond 6000rpm which is to early!!!

maybe someone can give me some serious powerband numbers of the above mentioned turbos to make my desicion easier...

Best regards and happy chrismas
Malte.

i wouldnt run anything with a .48ar exhaust housing.

i think a t3 60/63 would be a great turbo.

hm, can you tell me some numbers?
currently i'am running a .64ar on my SC34... is the turbine compareable with the .63ar from a streight T3 turbo or are there differences in the size?

what powerband can i expect on a t3 60/63 on a B16A1 engine?

Thanks
Malte.

The most I have ever seen the 28rs hit was 321whp.This was on a very hevily modded sr20.This was however on a mustang dyno.

what engine? and if you have 20psi@3krpm i guess you are talking about the .63ar GT28RS version - right?

Best regards
