Default spool up lag??

i just ionstalled my ebay special front mount, and now my ---- is spooling later than with the sidemount. that was to be expected, but it used to spool at about 2600, now its about 3400. is that normal? its not a huge fmic, its like 27x6x2.5.

I bet you got a leak somewhere that sounds a little *too* much later.

It's not lag, it's pressure drop. It's taking the forced air longer to reach your intake manifold because it has to fill a big expanse and then come up to your set pressure. Don't worry, it's normal with front mounts.

get ur car tuned.. low timing and rich afrs slow spool time as well.. on my "street tune" i wasent making full boost till like 6800rpm once i tuned it and added some timing it makes full boost by 6000 .. tuning make s abiigggg diff also a electronic boost conrtoller can give you a few hundred rpm faster spool i gained about 400 rpm faster spool on my last setup .. bigger dp also helps
and open dp helps tremendously.. for when ur at the track.. but rememeberr open dp makes ur tune about .5 leaner.. so if u r tuned to 11.5 ur gonna be around 12.0AFR

where is your wastegate boost line hooked up to? put it on your intake mani and you will get what the wastegate is suppose to be set for.
