Default spool time on a .63 exhaust

Got my new turbo today, a m27 .48 compressor .63 exhaust. Looking for a idea on the spool time for my D16A1. Looking for top end power

5k-ish is cool, I can rev to 7.5k. I'll be using a 2.5 exhaust turbo back if it helps to mention.

run a 2 1/4 in. dp it will help spool time ... id say 4800-5200 leaning more towards 4800 though full boost 10 lbs

Ive got ~15psi on my t3 60/63 on a lower compression d16z6....by 3500rpm... 3in DP right off turbo. Honestly... its suprised me alot.

Say I floor the car in 4th gear at 2500rpm... i have over 10psi just past 3k.

hmm, what compression? I'm gonna be running custom weisco 9.1:1 pistons for a closer to normal compression (9.5:1) for my normal driving & low to mid power.

Compression is going to have next to zero effect on spool time.

Most of the spool time is going to be due to manifold design, and tune.

I had a .60 trim T3 with .48 turbine that spooled at 2500 rpms on my LS. Swapping to the .63 housing, and adding a very large 24X11X4" FMIC, I spooled at 3000 rpms. Whoopty-----, 500 rpm difference... keep in mind we are still dealing with tiny OEM "stage 1" turbine wheel.

I will be using either a equal length sidewinder style or a ramhorn. Audi 5000 FMIC
