i just clocked my center section and compressor side on my td04 with ihi exhaust side. if it's at all the same there was a single bolt clamp joining the exhaust side and center section. i removed the clamp via the one bolt and seperated the sections by tapping on the exhaust housing with a hammer. i then ground down the alignment pin so that i could rotate the center so that the oil feed was on top instead of the bottom. i then clocked the compressor by removing the snap ring from the center section that goes into the compressor housing. just make sure you get a really good pair of ring pliers. the pair i got said heavy duty, but the handles kept snapping off. good luck.

If the turbo's old, you might wanna use a shitload of Liquid Wrench or some type of penetrant.

yeah remove all the bolts, empty about half a can of PB on that bitch and "tap" it with a hammer till the exhaust section falls off. then put it where you want it and put the bolts back in till the bottom out...
