speed density?
For a 5.0 Mustang(stock engine) single set-up, with this turbo:
Master Power 60-1 "P" Trim - 630hp TO4 ' P ' Trim Turbine wheel - 64.5mm / 78mm Super 70 Compressor wheel - 60.5mm / 84mm .70a/r Compressor housing T4 .68 a/r housing Could speed density work or would I have to switch to mass-air? Thanks Fred |
Re:speed density?
You could do either...
It's like saying, Carburators or Fuel Injection...which works? |
Re:speed density?
i dont know much about speed density but i would assume mass air would be better (before the turbo, im not sure if a ford maf/mas can work under pressure)

Re:speed density?
I'm a fan of speed density, ---- putting restrictions in the intake.

Re:speed density?
you don't hide it. you get a speed density system that can handle boost

I dunno Thanks for the replies! Fred |
Re:speed density?
All aftermarket engine management systems do speed density, except a few that are designed for specific applications.
Price ranges from about $150 (MegaSquirt) to about $2000 (Autronic, Pectel) |
