Default somthing i was wondering about the boost controller

im not compl,etely sure how the boost controller works. does it just kill some vaccume and then the boost goes higher? just wondering. cuz i only have a 5.80whatever spring in my wastegate and want to run 8-10 but would like to know if i could just turn it up with my boost controller or do i need a new spring?

If your using a standard $15 Ebay controller, yes it will work for what you want.

There are several different types of manual boost controllers, but for the most part, they all ultimately report a lower pressure reading to the WG than what is present in the intake manifold.

This popped up on a simple google search, and describes the more common ebay controller pretty good.
