somthing i was wondering about the boost controller

im not compl, etely sure how the boost controller works. does it just kill some vaccume and then the boost goes higher? just wondering. cuz i only have a 5.80whatever spring in my wastegate and want to run 8-10 but would like to know if i could just turn it up with my boost controller or do i need a new spring?

If your using a standard $15 Ebay controller, yes it will work for what you want.

There are several different types of manual boost controllers, but for the most part, they all ultimately report a lower pressure reading to the WG than what is present in the intake manifold.

This popped up on a simple google search, and describes the more common ebay controller pretty good.
