Turbo took a ---- the other day.. I have oil coating the whole underside of my car :-\

it's okay though because I bought a Holset H1C a few days before! updates coming soon


riding without a tach for now.. i shift by ear and have CEL shift light setup, so ---- it.

I just got all this 3" aluminum intercooler piping from a ford guy for free.. ;D
a little overkill for a boosted 1.6L, but I might just run a 2" hot side, and 3" cold side with these, and ditch the napa pipes

runa 1/16 restirtor, i had the same problem as you, i know it seems wayyyy to small but it works perfect. ive been running my turbo like this for over 2 years. and the turbo is like new. does spit out any oil at all.

started changing the setup today..
pulling the a/c
holset h1c backdoored intercooler setup.. updates will ensue
possibly swapping out the compressor side with HX40 equivalent

so, I found out R134 refrigerant is neon green by SPRAYING IT ALL OVER THE GARAGE INCLUDING IN MY FACE HAHA

I guess that's what I get for being in such a hurry.. the A/C is completely removed now :-\

also, the stupid ------- BLOX manifold doesn't allow me to run the compressor on the driver side because it angles the exhaust outlet right by my radiator

anddddd the h1c 18cm^2 didn't even spin at idle, so I decided to throw the garrett back on.. so really the only thing i'm happy about is I used some pipe strap on the intercooler so it is snug, and I got an elbow on my wastegate so there's no more exhaust leakage..

Thanks, yeah you can put the DC cluster into the 96-00 civic pretty easy if you repin the clips..

new turbo showed up today, it's way heavier than I was quoted.. seller told me it was 21 lbs.. this thing is a ------- moster! it has to weigh 50 lbs. easy.. there's no way i'll support this thing with a equal length manifold!
