im getting confused again, when lowering the boost you want the wastegate partially open, right? so if you were to place washers inbetween the actuator and the mount then it would be pushing the whole thing forward, which would open the gate a little bit? or am i completley off base?

Adding washers inbetween the actuator and the actuator mount will move the actuator away from the wastegate, which would be the same as shortening the arm, which would raise the boost.

im sorry i see what youre saying now, yea youre right, i didnt follow it, but what i meant was to put washers inbetween the mount and the turbo itself, which would push the mount and the actuator towards the wastegate. the mount that houses the actuator is bolted to the turbo itself, if i placed the washers inbetween the actuator mount and the turbo that would then effectivley move it all forward, right?

lol, oh ok. Yeah, that would do it.
I never thought of that before. That would be easier than threading the arms and adding a nut. Good idea to improve on an already bad idea. :P

Hey let us all know how your idea turns out. We've used all sorts of crazy ways to lower/raise boost on internal wastegate. Such as the dreaded carb spring
The washer idea may be a safer solution.
