damn you guys are getting lucky i had two stock probe bpvs that were junk

 

thanks guys....also do you know if the flange on it is the same as any others. i bought it with the pipe it ataches to but its like 1 3/4 inch around, i was just wondering so i could get a adapter to just weld onto the chargepipes

 

They leak bad as ----, some guys are getting lucky obviously. Just use a hose clamp to put it on.

 

Some bypass valves are supposed to be cracked open at idle. IE dsm 1g valves, and some of the bosch valves.

 

huh it has a 2 bolt flange on it that conects it to a hard pipe. the hard pipe is dinky like 1 3/4 inch i want a bigger one so its not so restrictive. the question was is it the same as the 2 bolt greddy flange, dsm 2 bolt flange, ect... so i can bolt it up to somthin bigger

 

Oh i was looking at another thread and replying to this one at the same time lol ignore that. The flange is one off, its not the same as any other bov/bpv. You'd be better off just buying a 1g DSM BOV and using it.

 

heat the charge pipe up amd smack it with a hammer so you have a flat spot
put jb weld on that spot and the grind it flat
dril your 2 hole and then nut and bolt it on with a good gasket
