so ive been researching turbo setups alot lately so me and my brother slaped 1 on his 73 nova but its carborated and it runs like crap until about 2500 when it spools which is realy funny byt its anoying help please

You make it sound like turbocharging is a brand new thing.

 

i dont have have a camera im broke thats why im here i dont have the money to through around i was hopeing you guys could help i will try to work on the pics though

 

How in the ---- are we suppose to help you fix the problem if all your gonna tell us is that you put a turbo on a 73 Nova with a carb and it runs like ----?
Did you do blow through? Is the carb before or after the turbo? What turbo did you use? What carb are you using?

 

its an adapter plate that bolts to the intake manafold the turbo sucks through the carb the carb is a holly double pumper 450cfm on a performer intake manafold 73s in the front 75s in the back we checked the power valves still cant figure it out runs like ---- until it boosts

 

oh and the turbo is t4

 

Go buy a $30 walmart camera you broke dick ----------er.

 

a 450 cfm carb on a turbo v8? or even if its a turbo 6 cylinder. 650 would be good...for NA

 

it probably runs like ---- until your extra flappers on the crab open up and give more fuel.
that carb is way to small.
