so i got a killer deal that i could not pass up.... holset d16 stylee
the goods...
yeah.... its a little big... but i have really wanted to run a holset for a while now.... originally a twin scroll hx35... but this pretty much fell in my lap so i said what the hell. 40k miles on it... and "sticking" wastegate... no shaft play.. ---- 200 shipped is practically a steal...
9 cm exhaust housing.... so about a .64-.68 a/r... with a hx40 comp. wheel (62mm inducer) fitted into the hx35 housing...
apparently the spool is close to that of a 60 trim t3/t04e.... i dont know... but i do know the manifold that my friend will be making for me will probably something like a miniram... something with short primaries def...
anyone else have any experience with this on a sohc?

59300 zex cam
3 inch magnaflow exhaust
tial 38mm wastegate
cca intercooler
4 to 3 inch dp im guessing
probably 660 injectors or maybe 720's
gm 3 bar
walbro 255 pump
neptune
previous setup on stock (besides the cam) engine with 2.5 exhaust, 2.5 dp, and a .42/.48 50 trim t3 @ 10.5 psi made 217 whp and 183 wtq... jk tuning tuned the car on uberdata

Basically same as yours.Car is still work in progress so no numbers etc yet.

pretty much the same.... anything in the 300-400 whp range ill be happy with.... probably running a shorty type manifold... i dont know... i have a friend making one so... i guess we will see what he does with it.... but def something with short primaries
