turbo parts -=- housings t3 then goto HX35

h1x and HX35 are same hot side

hy35 uses a vband i believe and holset isnt offered an exh housing option by bullseye - someone even inquired from the dsm forum.

Weird, I've got an h1c with an 18cm housing that uses a V-band. I'm contemplating maching a t3 housing to fit the wheel, buying a bullseye housing or selling it and finding something like an hy35. It needs a rebuild anyways, so if I'm going to be dumping that much cash into it I want to find something that will work well.

on H1C - the vbands on the compressor not the turbine side. at least all 5 i've seen - lol

if anyone has 2 AMD 29F010 chips - i need them - im having some overnighted but tthey wont get here til wed bc of the holiday

car cant move til i get em - the chips got messed up today - luckily the ecu didnt fry :P

anyway - dyno numbers this week sometime

i think he was talking about the vband exhaust dump. not where it connects to the center cartridge.

Correct, I just went down to check. V-band exhaust dump, regular 4 bolts on the center section.

I'm on the hunt for a cheap, smaller housing...

bullseyes housing is cheap... look up a new garrett housing... then add in cost to machine it for a HX35 exh wheel

Yeah, I'm definately keeping it in mind. If I buy that one though, I may not have the cash to get the h1c rebuilt.
