I had a Blown HG for about 2 months. Coolant NEVER went down. I leak just enough to make it smoke the odd time and overheat every once in a blue moon.

Replaced the HG, No more problems.

do both and get some ARP head studs and you’ll be set.

 

It sure sounds like turbo seals to me, I can't think of why a BHG would cause oil to leak all into your chargepiping, etc.

 

u should take a picture of the smoke then we can help a little better

The reason we can't tell you what the problem is is because you don't know what color your smoke is. White is coolant!! If it's not white then it's not coolant, simple.

 

If it is blown around an oil passage, cylinder pressure leaks into the crankcase, if he doesn't have a proper PCV system, and not assuming, but a lot of Newbs over look this, oil is then forced into the intake tract by the PCV System.
