Default Smoke

I just got the S-10 turbod and now it smokes when I start it up the truck now has 16391 miles on it yup just 16 thousand miles and Im wondering what it is? It goes away after about a min or so is it just seals or what? Help me if you can.

3 things we suggest on the baord now.

DO These IN ORDER

-thicker oil
-reduce oil pressure
-rebuild


if that doesnt help. who knows

The colr running oil pressure is about 80 and then comes down when the truck begins to cool and then its on the raod always about 50. if the stock oil is 5-30 synt then where do i go? and how hard is it to rebuild a 14b? Theres almost no play so I would assume seals?

ithink u only need 35 psi for the turbo dont u??

itll be fine all the way to 10psi.. i wouldnt suggest anything lower.

put a needle valve in ur oil feed line.put a oil pressure guage after the needle valve so u will know how much pressure u have when u adjust it
