since NO ONE has correctly answered his problem..........
5th gear synchro, low oil level, or outercase main bearing is bad. Under load the gear will slip out into neutral. What year B16 tranny? Cable/Hydro????? 99-00 Civic Si's had a TSB about this issue. |

5th gear is where the clutch sees by far the most amount of torque.
So like 1435439 people already said, it's the clutch. |
