Re:to sleeper or not to sleeper

its is impossible to make a honda sleeper

One everyone thinks we are slow
two if they hear the bov or hear the spool of the turbo and they know what you have

Re:to sleeper or not to sleeper

Ive put a mild amount of work making my car more sleeperish. I agree with what beerbong said. ------- people dont know what a BOV is when they hear it if you dont live in an import community. I know my friends wouldnt know what a BOV sounded like. They would think it was some rice can or something.

I suggest keep it sleeper so people dont bother you about your car, its less likely to get stolen, and you can slip by some stupid rich kids that think their 3 series BMW is faster than your "POS honda"

My car is so sleeper it has a dented door and a miscolored fender. Keep it sleeper for safety purposes IMHO.

Re:to sleeper or not to sleeper

Why don't you just keep your hood closed? :-\ The sleeper effect is mainly the outside of the car being stock and trying not to draw attention to your car being fast. Sitting there with you hood opened kinda ruins this effect.

And besides I could point out a turbo in 2 seconds no matter how hard you tried to hide it so just the attempt would make you look stupid.

Re:to sleeper or not to sleeper

based on the information provided, I think I would rather have a fast car looking car look fast under the hood, then I'll start a complete sleeper, all the way down to skydiving smoke bombs for engine failure simulations. Thanks for all the help.

If the person cant figure out your car is boosted by the BOV or by the spooling they are a dumbass and probably dont have a car worth racing. The only people you are hiding it from are stupid people, I dont think theres a point.

Well I think there are a lot of people with only half a brain in my town. I was crusing the other night and some dude asked if I was "charged". I was like... you didn't hear my turbo the last 4 blocks or see that HMT sticker on the side of my car? He even said he had a big block in his honda when I asked what he had... lol.

Anyways yeah just make the outside and inside look like a sleeper... waste of time to do the engine bay. That's the cool part to check out.

"big block"=h22 :P

H22 weighs hella i waneted to do that but turning sucks ass

Re:to sleeper or not to sleeper

H22 does NOT weigh much more than a B16/B18. It's a myth. It has been proven.

Sleeper!!! Oh come on do you think every mustang/BMW/firebird/camaro owner knows what a bov sounds like? Just make the outside/inside a sleeper, do whatever works on the engine bay.
