Default Silly Newb Qs
I just got a T3 and a Supra SMIC. This is going on a 90 D16A6. How do you use an external wastegate with the HF manifold? I still have the internal wastegate that came with the turbo. Would that be easier just to use that instead of a Tial?

the internal would be easier unless you have boost creep problems or clearance issues with the internal gate. you could in theory add the external in with the hf mani, but you would have to cut a hole into it and weld a flange on

I'd say stick w/ the internal wg unless you get a manifold made with a flange on it.

you can't use the tial... dude check out the project pages... then add some common sense to it where would you mount the tial at

Go witht he internal. once you upgrade, it's time to upgrade the manifold as well. So you can kill 2 birds w/one stone. save the $$$ for now
