Should my bov be slightly open at idle? Or should it be totally closed?
Well I was just sitting here pondering about why my bov doesnt sound like any other RFL. Then I was thinking hrm I'm using a pretty big vac line and using the brake booster for a vac source. Maybe I'm putting such vacuume on it that its making my bov stay open at idle. Should I add washers to it? Im only on 8psi thats why I never thought it would need it.

Out of the 10 BOV's I've installed, all of them are open at idle. Think, if it was closed all the time how would it blow off? The vaccum pulls on the piston and opens it up. If it is closed it is too tight.
