I have a SWEET CCA intercooler, and I'm worried that If I don't have some screen mesh over it to protect it from sticks and rocks.... that all my fins are gonna get bent all up in time. I looks a lot cleaner with out the mesh, what do you suggest?

 

get the window screen you have on your windows at your house, then rap the intercooler with it. thats an idea.
or go ricer and put the mesh infront, besides, so what if your fins get bent.

 

I'm debating the same thing... plus with the mesh, it gives that stealth like look by hiding the ic a little. I was thinking of putting one in the winter for sure, as I winter drive my car.

Most home improvement stores carry some real nice black plastic mesh. Check that ---- out, cause it looks clean, is light, and offers plenty of protection.

 

I think looks much nicer without the mesh...I'd say just staighten the fins out ever so often with some needle nose pliers. That's what i've been doin'. It all depends what look your goin for. Stealth or bling. :P

 

i been driving my car for 6 months with out anthing protecting my ic. and it still good. is so easy to clean it too.

 

I'll do the pimp way, no mesh. I put a lot of time and money into this project, and I want people to notice!
