I'm needing to upgrade my Turbo (.60/.63) I was looking at the T4 housing kit for $240 shipped to my do. But I could sell my whole .60/.63 which is fresh, new wheel and never seen oil since the professional rebuild, and but a decent T3/T4 SSAutoCarp Turbo for less then I'd sell mine for.

People have been having good luck lately with them. Any thoughts?

 

I'd say get one of my turbos, you will save money and have a new turbo

 

I'd save up a few more dollars and go with WestCoast turbo, pick up a nice T3/To4e. You could probably make bank selling the T3 on ebay if it's just been rebuilt.

 

Well, The thing is a WC Turbo is 399.00. I don't think I'll get that for a .60/.63 and I really can't spend anymore money on my build.

 

If you don't have that much money then go with the ssauto turbo.

 

SSautoshit is still diceroll at best, granted some of it seems to be getting better but you can't be assured you're gonna get some of the new batch.

I personally keep the 60 trim or keep on the lookout for a cheap, used t3/t4, they pop up on ebay every once in a while.

Well most seam to think to stick with it. Again I will just get the upgraded housing and wheel for 240 shipped and know I have a good turbo.

 

Well I just bought a T04b housing and wheel good to 400hp and flows 44lb. I should be good wit that on the ZC.

 

a v trim? The t04b is a very nice turbo, I run one on my z6.
