How fucked up is it when you have to sift through the IMITATIONS of the cloned turbos...

The only ssauto turbo I've seen was their unbranded 57trim. After 10k miles (i'm guessing there) it had as much shaftplay as my volvo t3 and t3/t04b cheapies that came with visibly worn journal bearings. The only thing ssauto stuff is good for IMO is as a weapon - weather it be your engine or another person you kill with it, its your choice. :1

Ya i had one that lasted about 5 minutes, smoked the center section, then the compressor wheel fucked up the housing (it sounded like a ------- terradacctyl killing itself). My compressor housing was a solid 1 piece cast unit though. I WAS pissed, it was the first piece i bought as i was researching my setup. Long story short, I had Alamo turbo in Kent build me my own turbo with a garret center section and 57 trim stage 3 wheel, I bougt a new REAL Turbonetics exhuast housing, and had them custom machine a B/W wheel and 60 ar compressor housing (in an e trim of course) to fit this ------- bastard of the industry.... IT ------- works great, $600 later, i am happy as hell. I am told that it should be good for 425-450 HP on the f22 im smashing... OH WELL The only thing that were left that werent trashed from the XS power turbo was the exhauast housing....Makes a great paper weight.

The fucked up part is some ------- did exactly what you were joking about, resold it on ebay (probably once he learned it was a piece of ----, sold it to me... And since It didnt appear to be from ssac, I thought it would work fine...

I didn't have problems with mine. I've been running it for a long time now pushing 10 psi daily. Notice the difference on the turbos thou... and mine has grindings on the bolts meaning it was balanced.

I have an Xs Power t3/t4 t04e but it doesn't look like that one. It's the one with a square label. Is this a piece of ---- or what. I haven't had the time to do it.

some of ssac and xspower is actually half way decent. those of you who dont have problem or have different looking turbos, you got the real ----. its the fake ---- that ***** up.
