HF ported mani
custom adapter plate
Tyrus 5" FMIC
OBD0 Turboedit
JDM Old school HKS "Super blow off valve"
2.5" Charge piping
Stealthmode oil kit
Si Tranny
Exedy Clutch
MPFI Conversion
DSM 450cc injectors

Very near future:

downpipe will be done
resistor box instead of in-line resistors
full 2.5" exhaust
Greddy Type-S BOV
Wideband o2, possibly the zeitronix model.. still researching.. open to any ideas!


Anyway, i got the work done the other night and have driven it short distances a time or two to see how it runs.. very rich right now until i get my wideband. i am running 8psi with stock t25 internal wastegate. the rad fan has been wired with a switch. the hot side piping is going to be re-done, i had to rig it to get it working.. i had originally planned on cutting through the metal to fit it but decided against it..

open to any ideas/suggestions/criticism (dont be to harsh)

is the d15b2 equivalant to the b7? or is it weaker?

the d15b2 is 95 hp stock, but i did mpfi so i would guess it was about 100-105 hp.. pretty weak. it originally came with DPFI.

thats one sexy hatch!! those rims look really good on your car. i thought i had the old version of the hks sequential but you got me beat!

that is one clean looking car and install. congrats! bet it books. i'd lower it some more though, just enough to tuck th ties in a little, then again it stil looks good! good job!

i think the one i have may be the predecessor to the SSQ, it doesnt even make a squeek noise.. its a whoosh type noise. thanks for the compliments!

just so everyone knows, i drove it once or twice, and until i get a downpipe i wont be driving it anymore. i got like 5 posts on h-t being flamed for not having a DP. rediculous! im having to wait for my exhaust plate from RRE to get here before i can have dp made

the bov sounds pretty neat.. its a "woosh" type sound. i havent driven it much, but i think ill be able to hear it much better once my exhaust is on it.

ive looked all over the net and cannot find out anything about it - not even anybody who has one or anything. i think its a JDM only piece.. only reason i have it is because it was on my buddie's sr20det front clip when he bought it, but he wanted to use his SSQ

thats exactly how i want mine to look. i have a 89 hatch si with the basicly the same mechanicla setup ( T25, std manifold, adapter plate, and 6"jhrc intercooler) Did you run into any unexpected problems just so it will give me a little heads up before the install

only unexpected thing i ran into was with the oil line kit, i used the stealthmode oil line set up but i had to buy a 90 bend for the drain barb coming out of the turbo. without the 90 bend, the barb was facing directly into the crossmember with no room to slip the hose over it. overall it was a pretty easy install

ive ordered the dp flange plate from RRE, waiting on it to get here. the first time i drove it i was in shock.. i drove in vacuum until it got warm.. then i took off in first gear and about 4800rpm it just broke loose spinning tires.. when i hit boost in 2nd gear i blew a pipe off. one other thing i forgot to mention, i had to clock the turbo a little so the exit side of the compressor would not hit the turbo.. and i had to drill a hole in the wastegate actuator bracket to rotate it so it was not at a bad angle.

you may end up cutting quite a bit more than me into the bumper support since yours is the 6" core.. it was very much so worth it

hey what did u do for the charge piping? u just buy mandrel bends and cut them and use them?

damn, that sucks about the clocking, i think im going to just beat the crap out off my cross member until it fits because i have no idea how to even start to rotate it, by the way green do you have aim? id sure like to talk to you somemore . of course if you dont mind

clocking it was VERY easy.. loosen 4 bolts, turn it, and tighten them back down. i have aim, my sn is " t" .. im always open to talk as long as i have time.. the entire install is pretty fresh in my mind since i just got done 3 days ago

hey man i got the same car. mpfi swaped but i blew up the d15b2 and have my a6 going in this week. mines grey in though. cant wait to feel boost for the first time

that's one super duper clean EF. i'd look soo gooood if it was waayyy lower. that's the only thing i'd do to it if i was blessed with it. good job on the install.

got downpipe made today.. holds 8psi strong now
