Can you turbo a 2 cycle 70cc scooter? I got a 02' Peugeot speedfight for free.

 

get the smallest turbo you can find and go to town...it can be done

 

forget turboing it and spend your time making a real big, nice, efficient expansion chamber for it

once you understand them you will realize that its like forced induction in some aspects

 

Ok I'm waking this up again. I just found out the scooter is 4 cycle and runs off a carb which has been upgraded to a stage .

 

turbo that bitch. really it is a carbed 4 stroke its not hard.

get the smallest turbo you can find, probably something of a jap Kei car. blow the boost through the carby, just make sure all your seals are good. AFAIK scooters use gravity fed fuel, you'll need a high pressure electric pump, with a return line from the carby back to the tank.

Hey where can I get these fuel pumps? And do you have scematics for that? I also found a Daihatsu turbo which is a smaller then the kkk03 it probably only puts out max 6psi, This project will ssoon be done.

50CC engine converted to 70cc
Stage 3 piston
stage 3 block
stage 3 tourque converter/ rear pully
stage 4 Carb
Stage 4 Throttle
Stage 3 Ehaust and intake
Stage 3 ignition

The guy I bought it from put around 1700 euro ( $2000) in tuning into and raced it on the street. This thing beat my buddies modded 00" civic ex heavly NA modded in a race. The guy also said the piston is forged but on the High compression side, but I think it can take a little boost.

 

how much hp does that scooter have now?..
its not really possible to turbocharge one with less than 30-40 hp
there is no small enough turbo..
i have made some research on this cause i have a 200cc 16hp and found the smallest turbo ever an ihi rhb3 and my motor is not big enough to spool that turbo...
