Default Schwitzer turbo?

Hello everyone! I've been lurking around here for a while, this is my first post.

There's a turbo for sale on my local Craigslist. I've never heard of it so i was wondering if anyone here knows of them.

It's a Schwitzer turbo, model is s2d, part number is 6207-81-8331

From what I've found out it's from a komatzu earth mover.

I am looking for something that'll work well on my motorcycle. This isn't the first turbo bike I've built, I'm just not familiar with Schwitzer products. The bike is a 1200cc four stroke (01 suzuki bandit) Redline is 11k rpm, powerband really shines from 7k to 10k. I like the fact that the Schwitzer has a twin scroll turbine housing. I was planning on getting a gt28 and calling it done, but if this is a quality unit then i could definitely use it if it's properly sized.

Schwitzer was bought by Borg Warner; their S series line comprizes the former Schwitzer lineup. They don't have much about this model on their website, but you could contact them to see if they have more information on this model. Locations|BorgWarner Turbo Systems

Thank you for the response Matt.

I have been looking more into the turbo, since it is off of a diesel the hot side is much too large for the displacement that I'm working with.

On to the next! 😁

Hello! I ordered a turbine from Europe. I also decided to replace the entire oil supply system and eliminate leaks. I needed high-quality oil filters for my car, you can also find Oil Filter for 5.7 Hemi and a lot of spare parts and manuals for installing them here.
