SCAT rods wont fit in the cylinder bore???

Yeah, notch the block. If you start shaving the rods, you'll end up with out of balance rods. A little bit can harm the harmonic balance of your motor causing bearing failure. If you do shave them, make sure and have them balanced.

The angle is EVERYTHING when dropping it in. Most rods I've seen are all ballanced, grinding woulda screwed more than that up too. Screw up the case hardening and introduce poorly angled scratches, and you get big stress/crack issues.
I get that too, I just make sure she uses a big ---- plug in both holes for a spell before I'm totally hard. Wait did I read that wrong?
