SCAT rods wont fit in the cylinder bore???
Like the the title states my SCAT rods wont slide inside the cylinder bore. They will go in buts its really tight and I don't want to scratch the bore. Its a d16Z6 stock bore with just honing done.
Would it be ok to sand down the edges of the rods just enough to get them to freely slide down the bore?
Thanks for any info.

b18a/b rod?
same lenght (137mm) but bore is bigger
same journal size
pin is 21 for b vs 19mm for d
sometime company like to take shortcut but they forget small detail

You do not have to shave anything off the rods. I had the same issue when I was building my engine a few years ago. If you try installing them at different angles, you will notice that there is one point where they will slide in with very very little resistance. Once in the block you can rotate them to line-up properly with the crankshaft. Just lube the side of the rods, and the cylinder walls before you try installing them.
